Job Title: Lead Paediatric Physiotherapist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Paediatric Physiotherapist to join our team at The Portland Hospital, a leading provider of private healthcare for women and children.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in paediatric physiotherapy, with a minimum of 6 years' experience working with children with complex needs. They will be responsible for managing a caseload of approximately 30-50% billable units per day, using expert clinical reasoning and critical thinking to assess and treat clients with complex difficulties.

The ideal candidate will have a BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy and be a current registered member of the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). They will also have previous experience of people management and leading a team, as well as knowledge and application of paediatric physio assessments and interventions relevant to a paediatric client group.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a complex caseload of children with complex needs
  • Use expert clinical reasoning and critical thinking to assess and treat clients
  • Provide supervision to junior and senior therapists
  • Support the Head of Therapies in overseeing the organisation and management of the Paediatric and Women's Health Physiotherapy team
