Job Title: Advanced Paediatric Neuro Physiotherapist

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Advanced Paediatric Neuro Physiotherapist to join our team at The Portland Hospital, London. As a key member of our physiotherapy department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to children with complex neurological conditions.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will have a strong background in paediatric neuro physiotherapy, with experience in assessing and treating children with a range of neurological conditions, including cerebral palsy, spina bifida, and acquired brain injury. You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans, and provide education and support to families and carers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of children with neurological conditions, including developmental assessments and movement analysis.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including physiotherapy interventions, education, and support for families and carers.
  • Work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to provide holistic care to children and their families.
  • Provide education and training to other healthcare professionals on paediatric neuro physiotherapy.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of physiotherapy policies and procedures.
Requirements:
  • Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) as a physiotherapist.
  • Postgraduate qualification in paediatric neuro physiotherapy or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in paediatric neuro physiotherapy, preferably in a hospital setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with children, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to work.
