Job Title: Lead Paediatric Physiotherapist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Paediatric Physiotherapist to join our team at The Portland Hospital, a leading provider of private healthcare for women and children.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced physiotherapist to lead our paediatric physiotherapy team and provide specialist assessment and intervention to children with complex needs.

You will be responsible for managing a complex caseload, providing supervision to junior and senior therapists, and supporting the Head of Therapies in overseeing the organisation and management of the Paediatric and Women's Health Physiotherapy team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a complex caseload of approximately 30-50% billable units per day
  • Provide specialist physiotherapy assessment and intervention to children with complex needs
  • Supervise junior and senior therapists, providing guidance and support as needed
  • Support the Head of Therapies in overseeing the organisation and management of the Paediatric and Women's Health Physiotherapy team
Requirements
  • BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy (or equivalent)
  • Current registered member of Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)
  • At least 6 years' experience working as a Paediatric Physiotherapist in acute, community and/or education setting
  • Previous experience of people management and leading a team
  • Knowledge and application of paediatric physio assessments and interventions relevant to a Paediatric client group
