Job Description

Overview:

KAG Recruitment Consultancy Ltd seeks an experienced Employee Relations Manager to drive the development of compliant ER processes, policies, and procedures. This role will focus on promoting a positive work environment, ensuring employee relations are aligned with the company's core values.

Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, dependent on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Compliance and Policy Development: Lead in developing compliant ER processes, guidelines, and templates to support management self-serve in resolving ER issues.
  • Policy Review and Revision: Develop and revise our People policies to ensure legal compliance and a positive work environment.
  • Training and Development: Deliver training programs such as conflict resolution, dignity in the workplace, and HR processes.
  • Stakeholder Management: Work with Stakeholders to address complex employee issues and promote positive workplace dynamics.
  • ER Case Analysis: Monitor and analyse ER cases, identifying trends and propose associated interventions.
  • Collaboration and Mentorship: Collaborate with our People Leadership Team and functional leads to understand business needs and propose initiatives to support a positive employee experience.
  • Junior Team Development: Develop and mentor junior team members, spreading your knowledge and fostering a learning environment.

Requirements:

  • Employment Law Expertise: Broad and up-to-date understanding of employment law within the UK and with experience of practical application.
  • Leadership Skills: Strong knowledge to build credibility within the business and foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Data Analysis: Ability to analyse Employee Relations data and trends in order to identify areas for improvement, anticipate potential issues, and develop proactive strategies.
  • Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to changing business needs, priorities, and organisational dynamics, while remaining resilient and composed in challenging situations.
  • Process Design: Experience in designing, developing, and embedding new processes and policies.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills, enabling effective collaboration and influence across all levels of the organisation.
  • Qualifications: LLM Qualifications would be highly advantageous.
