Position Summary

Samsung is seeking a seasoned professional to drive the integration of our digital wallet as a preferred payment method across various large online merchants. As a key member of the Samsung Wallet partnerships team, you will play a crucial role in developing the valued partnership landscape for one of our largest growth product areas.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and research potential merchant partners, opportunities, and suppliers.
  • Develop pitch materials and handle the full sales cycle to promote our digital wallet and payment solutions with online merchants.
  • Create a full business development programme in partnership with the chosen payment gateways and align on merchant targets and pipeline.

Partner Development

  • Negotiate new business agreements to secure wallet and payment partners, enhancing functionality and driving revenue and engagement.
  • Nurture and cultivate relationships with existing portfolio accounts, tracking and optimising performance while handling partner roadmaps and future propositions.

Drive Innovation

  • Identify new market opportunities and growth sectors within the digital wallet and payment programs.
  • Champion and advocate for new functionality and partnerships to support product and proposition development.

Requirements

  • Consistent track record in handling payment gateway relationships, demonstrating the ability to negotiate and secure partnerships for digital wallet integration.
  • Deep understanding of the online checkout landscape, including current trends, challenges, and opportunities for enhancing payment methods.
  • Experience in leveraging payment service providers to optimise checkout processes and drive conversion rates.
  • Demonstrated commercial and contractual competence with a track record of delivering from concept to go-live.
  • Ability to build strong and effective relationships to collaborate in cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple, often conflicting demands, with flexibility and adaptability.
  • Passion for Samsung products, content, and services.
