Job Title: Head of Compliance Advisory - EMEA

Shell is seeking a highly experienced and skilled professional to lead our Compliance Advisory team in the EMEA region. As the Head of Compliance Advisory - EMEA, you will be responsible for providing expert advice and guidance on compliance matters to our EMEA Shell Energy businesses.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide independent challenge and advice on compliance obligations and risks to the EMEA Shell Energy businesses.
  • Develop and implement compliance strategies to mitigate risks and ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Collaborate with the Compliance Leadership Team to drive compliance culture and ensure effective risk management.
  • Manage the escalation and response of complex regulatory and compliance queries.
  • Provide input to the annual Compliance Risk Assessment plan and review the output of Compliance Risk Assessments.
Requirements:
  • Extensive experience in a senior compliance role, covering the EMEA region.
  • Deep knowledge of the EMEA Energy physical commodity and financial markets.
  • Robust knowledge and understanding of global and regional financial regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university (or equivalent work experience).
  • Demonstrated experience with leading a business and organisational transformation, including change management and project delivery.
