Job Title: Head of Compliance Advisory - EMEA

Shell is seeking a highly experienced and skilled professional to lead our Compliance Advisory team in the EMEA region. As a key member of the Shell Energy Compliance Leadership Team, you will be responsible for providing expert advice and guidance on compliance matters to our EMEA Shell Energy businesses.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide independent challenge and advice on compliance obligations and risks to EMEA Shell Energy businesses.
  • Develop and implement compliance strategies to mitigate risks and ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective compliance risk management.
  • Manage and escalate complex regulatory and compliance queries.
  • Attend EMEA Shell Energy Governance, Risk, Compliance & Assurance (GRCA) committees and provide input on compliance matters.
Requirements:
  • Extensive experience in a senior compliance role, covering the EMEA region.
  • Deep knowledge of EMEA energy physical commodity and financial markets.
  • Robust knowledge and understanding of global and regional financial regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or equivalent work experience.
  • Proven leadership experience with a demonstrated ability to motivate and develop teams.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels of an organisation.
