About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Compliance Expert to join our team at Shell. As the Head of Compliance Advisory, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our business operations are in compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Compliance Advisory: Provide expert advice and guidance to our business teams on compliance matters, including regulatory requirements, industry standards, and best practices.
  • Regulatory Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate regulatory risks associated with our business operations, ensuring that we are in compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
  • Compliance Training and Awareness: Develop and deliver compliance training programs to ensure that our employees understand their compliance responsibilities and obligations.
  • Compliance Monitoring and Reporting: Monitor and report on compliance matters, including regulatory changes, industry developments, and internal control weaknesses.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with our business teams, regulatory bodies, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration on compliance matters.
Requirements
  • Extensive Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience in a compliance role, with a strong background in regulatory risk management and compliance advisory.
  • Industry Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of the energy industry, including regulatory requirements, industry standards, and best practices.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team of compliance professionals.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with business teams, regulatory bodies, and other stakeholders.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as law, business, or a related field.
