Job Title: Head of Compliance Advisory - EMEA

Shell is seeking a highly experienced and skilled Head of Compliance Advisory - EMEA to join our team. As a key member of the Compliance Leadership Team, you will be responsible for providing expert advice and guidance on compliance matters to the EMEA Shell Energy businesses.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as the first point of contact for advice and independent challenge on compliance obligations and risks to the EMEA Shell Energy businesses.
  • Provide guidance and support to the Shell Energy Generation and Shell Energy Marketing businesses on compliance matters.
  • Manage the escalation and response of complex regulatory and compliance queries.
  • Attend EMEA Shell Energy business Governance, Risk, Compliance & Assurance (GRCA) committees.
  • Review and advise on compliance input and actions required for new business activities.
  • Provide Compliance expertise and advice during Regulatory inquiries and investigations.
  • Review and provide guidance on new products or activities.
  • Assist with Compliance training and development.
  • Provide input into and support of the strategy of the EMEA Shell Energy businesses.
  • Support internal audit and assurance reviews.
Requirements:
  • Extensive experience in a senior compliance role, covering the EMEA region.
  • Knowledge of global and regional financial regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Proven leadership experience with a demonstrated ability to motivate and develop teams.
  • Robust written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels of an organisation.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate and partner effectively within a global leadership team.
