Autism Outreach Manager

We are seeking an experienced Autism Outreach Manager to join our team in London E17. As an Autism Outreach Manager, you will be responsible for leading our outreach service to provide high-quality care and support to individuals with learning disabilities and autism.
About the Role
- You will assess new referrals and develop comprehensive support and risk management plans to ensure that individuals receive the best possible care.
- You will build and maintain strong relationships with families and other professionals/stakeholders to ensure that our services meet the needs of individuals and their families.
- You will coach, mentor, and develop a resilient team of support workers and deputy managers to deliver innovative, person-centered support that meets individual needs and outcomes.
- You will ensure that our service maintains the highest quality of care and support, adhering to CQC requirements and aiming for a rating of 'Good' or 'Outstanding'.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess new referrals and develop comprehensive support and risk management plans.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with families and other professionals/stakeholders.
- Coach, mentor, and develop a resilient team of support workers and deputy managers.
- Ensure the service delivers innovative, person-centered support that meets individual needs and outcomes.
- Maintain service standards to meet CQC requirements, aiming for a rating of 'Good' or 'Outstanding'.
About You
- You will have significant management experience in a similar setting and at least 3 years of experience delivering person-centered support to people with learning disabilities and autism.
- You will possess a qualification in Positive Behaviour Support Coaching (BILD accredited), NAPPI Level 2, or a willingness to complete the qualification within 3 months.
- You will have strong communication skills and the ability to liaise with various stakeholders.
- You will have staff management experience, including leading and motivating a team to deliver high-quality support.
- You will be able to think creatively and manage emergency situations effectively.
- You will have experience developing needs assessments and support plans for people with behaviors of concern.
- You will have a passion for empowering people with autism or learning disabilities to lead the lives they choose.
- You will have knowledge of managing budgets and emotional and physical resilience to handle challenging environments.
