Brook Street Social Care is recruiting a dedicated and passionate Team Manager to lead our Autism Outreach Service in London. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced manager who is keen to use their coaching and mentoring skills while upholding high standards in service delivery.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and motivating a staff team to provide creative, flexible, and person-centered services that enable individuals to thrive and be active members of their community. You will lead an Autism Outreach Service that supports individuals across seven London Boroughs, helping them live at home with family or in supported living environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess new referrals and develop comprehensive support and risk management plans
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with families and other professionals/stakeholders
  • Coach, mentor, and develop a resilient team of support workers and deputy managers
  • Ensure the service delivers innovative, person-centered support that meets individuals' needs and outcomes
  • Manage the service within budget and achieve expected performance indicators
  • Maintain service standards to meet CQC requirements, aiming for a rating of 'Good' or 'Outstanding'
  • Line manage deputy managers and oversee outreach services across multiple boroughs

We are offering a competitive salary of £37,263 per annum, plus a range of benefits including 25 days annual leave, cycle-to-work scheme, and health assured employee assistance programme.

About You

The ideal candidate will have significant management experience in a similar setting, a qualification in Positive Behaviour Support Coaching, and strong communication skills. They should also have experience developing needs assessments and support plans for people with behaviors of concern.
