Accounts Coordinator

- Record supplier and subcontractor invoices in the finance system.
- Verify pricing and quantity accuracy, dispute discrepancies, request credit notes for overcharges, and log receipts.
- Ensure correct allocation of costs to nominal accounts, projects, or departments.
- Reconcile supplier and subcontractor statements.
- Process payments according to scheduled dates.
- Maintain accurate records.
- Support fellow Accounts Administrators as needed.
- Address customer and supplier queries promptly and professionally.
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation.
- Handle general inquiries and answer phone calls.
This role requires strong data entry skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office and general IT literacy. A minimum of 2 years' experience in a finance department, particularly in a similar role, is essential. Experience with Sage 200 Accounts software is desirable.
The estimated salary range for this position is £25,000 - £35,000 per annum, based on location and industry standards.
