Job Description: VANRATH is partnering with a long-standing client in Northern Ireland to recruit an Account Administrator. This role involves managing sales and purchase ledgers, reconciling statements, recovering debts, and addressing customer and supplier queries. Key Responsibilities include:
  • Record supplier and subcontractor invoices in the finance system.
  • Verify pricing and quantity accuracy, dispute discrepancies, request credit notes for overcharges, and log receipts.
  • Ensure correct allocation of costs to nominal accounts, projects, or departments.
  • Reconcile supplier and subcontractor statements.
  • Process payments according to scheduled dates.
  • Maintain accurate records.
  • Support fellow Accounts Administrators as needed.
  • Address customer and supplier queries promptly and professionally.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant legislation.
  • Handle general inquiries and answer phone calls.

This role requires strong data entry skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office and general IT literacy. A minimum of 2 years' experience in a finance department, particularly in a similar role, is essential. Experience with Sage 200 Accounts software is desirable.

The estimated salary range for this position is £25,000 - £35,000 per annum, based on location and industry standards.
