Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team at Ambience Care Limited - Reading Branch. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of anatomy and physiology, along with a commitment to providing exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients in accordance with established protocols and standards, ensuring the highest level of patient satisfaction.
- Administer medications accurately and safely, while monitoring for any adverse reactions and maintaining accurate patient records.
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients' health status, including vital signs and medical history.
- Prioritise individualised care plans based on patient needs and preferences, ensuring timely interventions and effective outcomes.
- Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare staff to coordinate patient care effectively, promoting a multidisciplinary approach.
- Educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatment plans, and preventive measures, fostering a culture of patient empowerment.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and training to enhance nursing skills, staying up-to-date with the latest clinical guidelines and best practices.
Requirements
- Valid registration as a nurse with the appropriate regulatory body.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology relevant to nursing practice, with a focus on evidence-based care.
- Proven experience in patient care within a clinical setting, with a commitment to delivering high-quality patient outcomes.
- Proficiency in medication administration techniques and protocols, with a focus on patient safety.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to empathise with patients and their families.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team, while also demonstrating initiative and a proactive approach to care.
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in all aspects of nursing care, ensuring seamless patient transitions and effective handovers.
