Job Overview:

We are looking for a highly skilled administrator to support our HR department in Preston.

This role involves providing generalist HR administration and advisory support along the employee lifecycle, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations.

The ideal candidate will work closely with the HR Advisor and Finance Director to maintain accurate employee records and produce contractual correspondence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the day-to-day running of the HR department
  • Produce contractual correspondence, reports, forms, and other documents
  • Maintain accurate employee files and records
  • Promptly respond to information requests in accordance with HR policy and procedure
  • Manage outsourced HR system
  • Support managers with effective recruitment and selection campaigns
  • Process all HR aspects of payroll
  • Deliver Health & Safety policy and procedures
  • Review and update policies in line with current legislation and best practice

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Highly skilled administrator with experience working in a busy environment
  • Able to communicate confidently and effectively at all levels
  • Proven ability to multitask
  • Relevant working knowledge of HR best practice, employment law, and policies
  • Able to work to deadlines and prioritise a varied workload

Based on industry standards, we estimate the annual salary range for this role to be £25,000 - £30,000.
