Job Summary:

As a Store Manager at Signet Jewelers Ltd., you will be responsible for driving sales and achieving targets through effective leadership and management of the store team. You will be passionate about promoting a sales culture, building and inspiring a strong customer-first team, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the store team to achieve sales targets and drive business growth
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to promote the sales culture and drive sales performance
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, including health and safety, trading standards, and employment law
  • Manage the commercial performance of the store, including control of costs, payroll, shrinkage, and expenses
  • Oversee the planning and organisation of operational activities within the store
  • Develop and implement training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of the store team
  • Monitor and analyse business data to inform sales and operational decisions

Requirements:

  • Experience of holding accountability for managing the commercial performance of a store
  • Experience of leading store teams and developing sales strategies
  • Experience of target-setting and interpreting business data
  • Ability to inspire, coach, and develop the store team to maximise potential and performance
  • Basic knowledge of legislative responsibilities, including recruitment, employment law, health and safety, and trading standards
