Aldi UK is seeking an experienced and motivated Store Operations Manager to support the Store Manager in the day-to-day operations of our stores. As an Assistant Store Manager, you will play a key role in driving sales growth, improving customer satisfaction, and maintaining operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Store Manager: Assist the Store Manager in managing the store's operations, including inventory management, stock control, and visual merchandising.
- Lead a Team: Supervise and motivate a team of sales assistants to deliver excellent customer service and achieve sales targets.
- Operational Efficiency: Identify areas for improvement and implement changes to optimize store operations, reduce costs, and improve productivity.
- Customer Service: Ensure that customers receive a high level of service, responding to their queries and resolving any issues promptly.
- Inventory Management: Assist with inventory management, including stock ordering, receiving, and storage.
- Visual Merchandising: Maintain the store's visual appearance, including displays, signage, and store layout.
- Reporting and Analysis: Provide regular reports and analysis to the Store Manager on sales performance, customer feedback, and operational efficiency.
Requirements:
- Experience: Proven experience in a retail management role, with a strong background in store operations and customer service.
- Leadership Skills: Ability to lead and motivate a team to achieve sales targets and deliver excellent customer service.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and customers.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- Adaptability: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a flexible approach to working hours and tasks.
