Regional Health and Safety Partner

Irwin & Colton Limited is seeking a highly skilled Regional Health and Safety Partner to join our team in the South-West region. As a key member of our Health and Safety team, you will be responsible for driving positive health and safety initiatives throughout the business.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide subject-matter expertise, leadership, and coaching to build safety and health capability across the site.
  • Ensure compliance with UK legislation and alignment with the overall UK strategy for Health and Safety.
  • Engage with staff at all levels to improve awareness and commitment to Health and Safety issues.
  • Manage a regular audit and inspection programme, assessing Health and Safety performance and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Engage with key internal and external stakeholders, including contractors, regulators, and enforcement agencies as required.
Requirements:
  • NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent (or working towards) and Membership of IOSH or other relevant professional body.
  • Strong technical knowledge of relevant health and safety legislation.
  • An enthusiastic and positive approach to health and safety.
