Ward Administrator

We are seeking a highly organized and communicative Ward Administrator to join our multidisciplinary team at Brighton & Hove Clinic. As a key member of the ward team, you will provide administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of the ward, working closely with the medical secretaries and ward staff to maintain accurate records and provide efficient support to the ward.
Key Responsibilities- Provide clinical administration and support services, including updating and maintaining accurate patient information, answering telephone calls, and communicating effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Manage the ward diary, update service users' timetables, and minute take for meetings.
- Arrange meetings and type up correspondence and documentation as required.
- Work closely with the training administrator to ensure all staff have completed mandatory training before being booked for shifts.
- Monitor attendance information, including absence data, to enable appropriate action to be taken by internal line management and external staffing agencies.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to respond to changes in service and adapt to new situations.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
