Role Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Nuclear Safety Advisor to join our team at Rullion Limited. This permanent position offers an excellent opportunity for professionals with expertise in radiation protection and nuclear safety to contribute their skills and experience to our organization.

Based in Cumbria or UK-wide locations, this role offers a salary range of £40,000-£45,000 per annum, depending on experience, and a 37-hour working week, Monday to Friday.

About the Job

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Conducting radiological protection monitoring and measurements to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Developing and implementing strategies to enhance nuclear safety and reduce radiation exposure risks.
  • Maintaining accurate records and reporting results to stakeholders.
Key Requirements

To succeed in this role, applicants must possess:

  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in a related field, such as health physics or radiation protection.
  • Certification in City and Guilds level 1 Radiation Protection or NVQ level 2 in Radiation Protection.
  • Ability to obtain SC clearance.
