Health Physics Monitor Job Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Health Physics Monitor to join our team in Cumbria or other UK locations. As a Health Physics Monitor, you will be responsible for carrying out radiological protection monitoring and ensuring compliance with regulations.

Job Summary: This permanent position involves working with clients to provide expert guidance on radiation protection and ensuring that their facilities meet relevant standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct radiological protection monitoring and surveying at client sites.
  • Measure radiation doses and contamination levels, and produce reports.
  • Provide expert guidance on radiation protection and safety procedures.
  • Collaborate with clients to develop and implement safety protocols.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years experience as a Health Physics Monitor.
  • SC clearance required, ideally already held.
  • City and Guilds level 1 Radiation Protection or NVQ level 2 in Radiation Protection.
  • IOSH working safely certificate (ideal).

Estimated Salary Range: £40,000-£45,000 based on experience and location.
