Health Physics and Safety Officer

We are currently recruiting for a Health Physics and Safety Officer at Rullion Ltd. This role is based in Cumbria/UK Wide and offers a salary range of £40,000 - £45,000 depending on experience.
The primary responsibilities of this position include carrying out radiological protection monitoring, measuring radiation doses and contamination levels, and providing protection advice to facility operators. You will be required to produce survey sheets, reports, and data presentations, identify trends to detect areas for improvement, ensure compliance with internal and external requirements, and report any areas of concern to relevant parties. Furthermore, you will be expected to provide emergency responses for health physics-related matters.
To excel in this role, you must possess experience as a Health Physics Monitor, minimum of 3 years' experience, City and Guilds level 1 Radiation Protection or NVQ level 2 in Radiation Protection. It would be beneficial if you hold an IOSH Working Safely certificate. All candidates must be eligible and able to obtain SC Clearance.
