Delegate Sales Professional

We are seeking an experienced delegate sales professional to join our team. This role is perfect for a candidate with expertise in delegate sales who is available for a temporary opportunity.
The successful candidate will be responsible for getting the word out there, encouraging clients to buy tickets and register their attendance. Responsibilities will include direct selling and event registration over the phone, building and growing relationships with clients, and upgrading registered delegates to VIP status.
This is a hybrid working position in the office two/three days a week, with an ASAP start on a rolling contract. The pay rate is up to £14.50ph.
Key Responsibilities:
- Direct selling and event registration over the phone with existing and new clients.
- Building and growing relationships with clients, ensuring excellent service is provided when responding to requests and queries.
- Upgrading registered delegates to VIP status, as well as finding new VIPS.
- Hitting and exceeding set KPIs and keeping track of targets.
- Recording accurate information and contact details from clients and ensuring this data is kept safe and secure.
Requirements:
- Availability to start immediately.
- Experience in sponsorship or event sales.
- Significant research skills with lead research via LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
- Strong skills in pipeline management and logging leads on Salesforce.
- Ability to communicate with senior decision makers in a corporate environment.
- Confidence in hitting and exceeding KPIs in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organisation skills, attention to detail and good working knowledge of Excel and Word.
