About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Stroke Physician to join our team at Dorset County Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our stroke department, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to patients with acute stroke needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to consultant ward rounds at weekends and public holidays, ensuring seamless care for our patients.
  • Provide clinical advice and support to community stroke services as required, promoting effective collaboration and communication.
  • Engage in continuing medical education and conduct undergraduate and postgraduate teaching, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and professional growth.
  • Contribute to the development of clinical quality and effectiveness in other clinical areas where stroke care overlaps, driving innovation and improvement.
