Join Our Team as a Stroke Physician Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Stroke Physician Specialist to join our team at Dorset County Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our stroke department, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to patients with acute stroke needs.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing clinical advice and support to our stroke and neuro rehabilitation team, as well as contributing to the development of clinical quality and effectiveness in other clinical areas where these overlap with developments in stroke care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to consultant ward rounds at weekends and public holidays
  • Provide clinical advice for community stroke services as required
  • Continuing medical education and conducting undergraduate and postgraduate teaching as appropriate
  • Contribution to the development of clinical quality and effectiveness in other clinical areas where these overlap with developments in stroke care
