Join Our Team as a Stroke Physician

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Stroke Physician to join our team at Dorset County Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our stroke department, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to patients with acute stroke needs.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, where you will have the chance to make a real difference in the lives of our patients. As a Stroke Physician, you will be responsible for providing clinical advice and support to our stroke and neuro rehabilitation team, as well as contributing to the development of clinical quality and effectiveness in other areas where they overlap with developments in stroke care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to consultant ward rounds at weekends and public holidays
  • Provide clinical advice for community stroke services as required
  • Continuing medical education and conducting undergraduate and postgraduate teaching as appropriate
  • Contribution to the development of clinical quality and effectiveness in other clinical areas where these overlap with developments in stroke care
