Job Description: Pastoral Guidance Professional

We are seeking a skilled Pastoral Guidance Professional to join our team at Eden Brown Education, providing support for students with SEMH needs in Greater Manchester. As a member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring students can access the curriculum and reach their full potential.

The role involves collaborating with teachers and other support teams to address barriers to learning and foster positive behaviour. You will also provide guidance and support for students with low-level mental health, behavioural, and additional needs. Your ability to work collaboratively with teachers, Progress Tutors, Learning Support, and the Safeguarding team will be essential in sharing information and signposting appropriate services.

The estimated salary for this role is around £15,600 per annum, based on a 37-hour week and 52 weeks per year. However, please note that this figure is an estimate and may vary depending on the actual working hours and other factors.

Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with teachers and other support teams to address barriers to learning.
  • Provide guidance and support for students with low-level mental health, behavioural, and additional needs.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers, Progress Tutors, Learning Support, and the Safeguarding team.

A Current DBS will be required for this role.
