About the Role

The ideal candidate will have a drive to promote and encourage independence and personal development among pupils. You will establish warm and supportive relationships with pupils, enabling them to feel safe and confident during their time at the school. Your approachability and ability to engage with students with special educational needs (SEN) will be essential in this role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the learning and development of pupils, focusing on cognitive, social, emotional, behavioural, physical, and spiritual well-being.
  • Establish positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents to create a supportive environment.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers to develop and implement effective strategies for SEN students.
Requirements
  • Degree or equivalent in Education or a related field.
  • Experience working with children, particularly those with SEN.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work effectively as part of a team.
