Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Infrastructure Specialist to join our team at Zhuzhou CRRC Times Electric UK Innovation Center. As a key member of our IT department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our company's IT infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the IT Infrastructure & Systems Engineer to provide IT support and provide backup for each other.
  • Ensure that user support requests are logged and receive prompt attention, and all IT issues are resolved and documented in a timely manner.
  • Maintain IT servers, networks, software, and office systems, monitoring IT systems and carrying out capacity management, maintaining data storage and backup solutions.
  • Support R&D engineers to implement and manage different R&D software.
  • Install, support, and maintain all network-connected devices, providing support for Hyper-V server virtualization, SCCM, etc.
  • Ensure the security of all IT systems and equipment.
  • Communicate and coordinate with headquarters IT department on IT projects implementation when needed.
  • IT assets management, IT policies improvement.
  • Other IT-related tasks assigned by line manager and/or senior management.

Requirements:

  • At least 3 years' experience in a similar role.
  • Bilingual in English and Mandarin.
  • Knowledge of IT core infrastructure, Windows Servers & Exchange, SCCM, LAN, WAN, and internet technologies.
  • Bachelor degree or above in computer science and/or a related IT subject.
  • Other relevant IT certificates are a plus, such as CCNA, VCP, MCSE, MCSA.

Personal Skills/Competencies:

  • Ability to prioritize and work to changing deadlines.
  • Experience of working in partnership with the business to scope requirements and develop fit-for-purpose technical solutions.
  • Effective communication and relationship-building skills.
