Senior Commercial Manager

Arguile Search is partnering with a leading business in the renewable energy sector to find a Senior Commercial Manager to join their team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a commercial professional to work across a portfolio of contracts across the full lifecycle, identifying risks, liabilities, and commitments, and ensuring the business fully appreciates any potential impact.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Commercial and Contract Management across the UK, working for large businesses in sectors such as Defence or Outsourcing. They will be adept at drafting and have an excellent grasp of enabling the best deals for the business.
The role will be very flexible, requiring travel to the office location in the south of England, one day a week on average.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review, draft, update, and maintain contract documents
- Monitor and report performance and compliance against contractual obligations
- Monitor customer satisfaction
- Work with contract delivery teams to ensure the management of change request process and change implementation is carried out in line with the contracts
- Report on progress of change requests and projects
- Review contract performance, assessing commercial risks and ensuring appropriate steps are taken to manage the risk
- Prevent and resolve contractual disputes
- Assure adherence to Group Commercial Policy
- Support client engagement teams in all commercial aspects, post contract signature, to achieve orders, profit, and cash budget, and overall management of the Client relationship
Requirements:
- Extensive experience in Commercial and Contract Management across the UK
- Excellent drafting and negotiation skills
- Ability to work across a portfolio of contracts
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
