Data Design Technical Specialist

About the Role
The Data Design Technical Specialist will be responsible for ensuring that data products and associated services are built, developed, and used in line with our standards. The ideal candidate will support our architects and will review and approve the technical design of new data products, ensuring that these designs align to defined standards and best practice.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Reviewing and approving the technical design of new data products.
  2. Ensuring that developers build in line with the approved technical design.
  3. Advising developers on the application of standards against specific project requirements.

Requirements
  1. A mature understanding of best practice in analytical data products and/or data pipelines.
  2. A desire to adopt lower risk technical solutions.
  3. Familiarity with or a willingness to learn a range of toolsets, such as SQL, SSIS, Alteryx & Tableau, to facilitate integration between the Data Warehouse and analysis and visualisation layers.
