Job Title: Manufacturing Engineer - Change Management Specialist

Location: Barrow-in-Furness

Salary: Competitive

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Engineer to join our Change Processing Team. As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring effective, safe, and stable change management techniques are incorporated into all business processes and toolsets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring the design intent, product delivery, schedule, and cost are maintained.
  • Controlling the delivery of embodiment of change to manufacturing and installation work orders.
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Impact assessing engineering change and creating PCNs to instruct downstream changes to production.
  • Enabling and creating work packages to support production in build.

Requirements:

  • Ability to understand technical drawings and data.
  • Broad manufacturing and installation knowledge/experience, preferably in heavy engineering projects.
  • Proficient in Microsoft packages.
  • Good problem-solving skills.
  • Trade background, electrical/man eng, pipework, engineering trades.
  • Excellent communication skills due to working alongside.
