Clinical Psychologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical or Forensic Psychologist to join our team in the Hampshire Multiagency Personality Service (HMAPS). As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide psychological consultation, formulation, and intervention services to individuals with personality difficulties and high-risk offenders.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to work in a specialist community service jointly commissioned between NHS England and Her Majesty's Prison and Probation Service. You will be part of a team that provides psychological formulation, consultation, and training to the National Probation Service and NHS teams working with individuals with personality disorder.
As a Clinical or Forensic Psychologist, you will be responsible for providing assessment, formulation, and intervention services to a caseload of high-risk individuals under probation supervision. You will work closely with probation officers and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement psychologically-informed interventions to support individuals with personality difficulties.
Key Responsibilities- Provide psychological consultation and formulation services to individuals with personality difficulties and high-risk offenders
- Develop and implement psychologically-informed interventions to support individuals with personality difficulties
- Work closely with probation officers and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans
- Provide training and supervision to other team members
- Contribute to the development of the service and its policies and procedures
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Clinical or Forensic Psychologist who possesses the following qualifications and skills:
- Post-graduate doctoral level training in clinical psychology (or its equivalent for those trained prior to 1996)
- HCPC Registration
- Training in Clinical Supervision
- Experience of working with individuals with personality difficulties and high-risk offenders
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
We offer a competitive salary of £46,148 to £60,504 per annum, depending on experience. You will also receive a range of benefits, including a generous annual leave entitlement, a pension scheme, and access to training and development opportunities.
