Senior Practitioner Psychologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Practitioner Psychologist to join our dynamic and caring team at Fareham and Gosport CAMHS. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality psychological assessments, formulations, and interventions to children and young people experiencing complex and severe mental health problems.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and develop evidence-based treatment plans for children and young people.
- Deliver a range of psychological interventions, including individual and group therapy, to support children and young people in achieving their goals.
- Work collaboratively with other agencies and services to develop and implement effective care plans and ensure successful transitions between services.
- Contribute to the development and delivery of clinical care pathways and participate in multidisciplinary team discussions.
- Supervise and support the development of other psychologists and psychological therapists in the team.
- Utilize research skills to inform service development and contribute to the evaluation of clinical care pathways.

Person SpecificationWe are looking for a Senior Practitioner Psychologist with:
Post-graduate doctoral level training in applied psychology, including models of psychopathology, clinical psychometrics, and lifespan developmental psychology.Professionally registered as a Practitioner Psychologist with the Health Professions Council (HCPC).Desirable: pre-qualification training and qualifications in research methodology, staff training, and/or other fields of applied psychology.-
