Job Title: Applied Clinical/Forensic Psychologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical or Forensic Psychologist to join our team in the Hampshire Multiagency Personality Service (HMAPS). As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide psychological consultation, formulation, and intervention services to individuals with personality difficulties and high-risk offenders.

About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to work in a psychologically-informed and psychologically-led joint venture between the NHS and probation. You will be responsible for providing consultation to probation officers, assessment, formulation, and intervention to a caseload of high-risk individuals under probation supervision. Your aim will be to ensure that intervention and management of people with personality difficulties who have offended is psychologically- and trauma-informed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide psychological consultation and formulation to probation officers and other stakeholders
  • Assess and develop intervention plans for high-risk individuals under probation supervision
  • Deliver psychological interventions and case management to individuals with personality difficulties
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive support to individuals and their families
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of service policies and procedures
Requirements
  • Post-graduate doctoral level training in clinical psychology or its equivalent
  • HCPC Registration
  • Experience in working with individuals with personality difficulties and high-risk offenders
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team
