Clinical Psychologist

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical/Forensic Psychologist to join our team in the Hampshire Multiagency Personality Service (HMAPS). As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide consultation, formulation, and intervention services to individuals with personality difficulties and high-risk offenders.
About the RoleThis is a unique opportunity to work in a psychologically-informed and psychologically-led joint venture between the NHS and probation. You will be responsible for providing assessment, formulation, and intervention services to a caseload of high-risk individuals under probation supervision. Your expertise will be invaluable in supporting the development of psychologically-informed and trauma-informed approaches to offender management.
Key Responsibilities- Provide consultation and training to probation officers and other stakeholders on psychologically-informed approaches to offender management.
- Conduct assessments and formulate interventions for individuals with personality difficulties and high-risk offenders.
- Develop and deliver psychological interventions to support individuals in managing their behavior and reducing the risk of reoffending.
- Collaborate with other professionals to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
- Contribute to the development of policies and procedures related to offender management and psychological services.
- Post-graduate doctoral level training in clinical psychology or its equivalent.
- HCPC registration.
- Experience of working with individuals with personality difficulties and high-risk offenders.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
