About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned National Account Manager to join our dynamic sales team at Optibac. As a key player in driving growth and revenue, you will be responsible for managing negotiations with major retailers, including Tesco, Waitrose, and Sainsburys.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve business objectives and drive ROI.
  • Build strong relationships with key accounts and stakeholders to ensure long-term success.
  • Forecast sales, manage budgets, and trade rebates with P&L responsibility.
  • Proactively monitor competitor activity and identify new opportunities to win in the market.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in FMCG or VMS, preferably in Grocery or Health & Wellness.
  • Excellent understanding of retailer JBP processes and category review procedures.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to present compelling data-driven insights.
  • P&L and trade rebate responsibility and understanding.
  • Proficient in Microsoft packages Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.

Benefits

  • Competitive salary (£45,000 - £55,000 depending on experience)
  • Hybrid working policy with frequent travel to Andover head office.
  • 22 days + Bank Holidays + discretionary extra 3 days between Christmas and New Year; increasing by 3 days after 3 full years' service.
  • Sickness absence – 20 paid sick days + 5 days of Special Leave.
