Job Title: Help Desk Technician
We are seeking a skilled Help Desk Technician to join our team at TeamLogic IT, SE Grand Rapids, MI. This is a key role that requires strong technical knowledge and excellent customer service skills.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in call handling, experience of working in a service environment, and good technical knowledge of Microsoft-based environments.
Salary: £175 per day (based on 35 hours per week)
Job Overview:As a Help Desk Technician, you will be responsible for handling customer contacts and resolving incidents efficiently. You will capture incident details accurately, perform issue triage, and manage escalations to ensure timely resolutions.
Key Responsibilities:- Resolve customer incidents and queries in a timely and efficient manner.
- Capture incident details accurately and utilise technical knowledge to ask the right questions.
- Perform issue triage and record information to categorise and prioritise tickets correctly.
- Manage escalations to ensure timely resolutions.
- Communicate effectively with the team leader and other teams.
- Demonstrable work experience equivalent to SCQF 7 or HNC level in an IT-related subject.
- Proven call handling experience.
- Experience of working in a service environment.
- Familiarity with online tools for recording and monitoring customer contacts.
- Good technical knowledge of Microsoft-based environments.
