Job Description

We are seeking a highly organised and adaptable Administrative Assistant to join our team at Innovate Cambridge. As a key member of our team, you will juggle a variety of responsibilities, including coordinating meetings, managing calendars, and arranging travel.

You will act as the first point of contact for inquiries, handling them with professionalism, provide essential support for events, social media, and office tasks, manage emails, draft correspondence, and assist with financial admin like invoices and expenses.

This is a full-time or part-time role, depending on the right candidate, with the opportunity to split your time between our inspiring locations: Botanic House in central Cambridge and the Cambridge Biomedical Campus.

In exchange for your hard work, you can expect a circa £25k (+ benefits) salary, 28 days annual leave (plus bank holidays) and an employee bonus scheme.

The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of experience in an admin or PA role, be confident with Microsoft Office, CRM tools, and social media platforms, possess strong multitasking skills and a knack for clear, professional communication, and be ready to roll up their sleeves and handle a wide range of tasks in a fast-paced environment.
