Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Therapist to join our team of experts in adult learning disability. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced therapist to take on new challenges and contribute to the development of our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • To assess and manage complex cases involving clients with learning disabilities and challenging behaviour.
  • To collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
  • To provide training and support to colleagues, carers, and families to enhance their skills and knowledge in communication and dysphagia.
  • To promote inclusive communication strategies and advocate for the rights of individuals with learning disabilities.
Requirements
  • Degree in Speech and Language Therapy or equivalent qualification.
  • Current HCPC registration and membership of the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists (RCSLT).
  • Proven experience working with adults with learning disabilities, including those with complex needs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
