Senior Therapist in Adult Learning Disability

Our team of experts in adult learning disability provides high-quality speech and language therapy services to individuals with complex communication needs. As a Senior Therapist, you will be an integral part of this team, working closely with colleagues to deliver effective treatment plans and promote inclusive communication strategies.
Key Responsibilities- To assess and manage complex cases involving clients with learning disabilities and challenging behaviour.
- To collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
- To provide training and support to colleagues, carers, and families to enhance their skills and knowledge in communication and dysphagia.
- To promote inclusive communication strategies and advocate for the rights of individuals with learning disabilities.
- Degree in Speech and Language Therapy or equivalent qualification.
- Current HCPC registration and membership of the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists (RCSLT).
- Proven experience working with adults with learning disabilities, including those with complex needs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- A competitive salary of £50,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience.
