About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Senior Therapist to join our team of experts in adult learning disability. As a key member of our community-based team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality speech and language therapy services to individuals with complex communication needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and manage complex cases involving clients with learning disabilities and challenging behaviour.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
  • Provide training and support to colleagues, carers, and families to enhance their skills and knowledge in communication and dysphagia.
  • Promote inclusive communication strategies and advocate for the rights of individuals with learning disabilities.
Requirements
  • Degree in Speech and Language Therapy or equivalent qualification.
  • Current HCPC registration and membership of the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists (RCSLT).
  • Proven experience working with adults with learning disabilities, including those with complex needs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
