Job Description:
We are looking for an Education Support Specialist to join our team at The Greater Horseshoe School in Devon. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a crucial role in helping our pupils with complex Social Emotional Mental Health (SEMH) needs achieve their full potential.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare learning materials and run classroom activities
- Support pupils with emotional and physical needs
- Develop individualised plans to meet the needs of each pupil
- Work closely with teaching staff to deliver high-quality educational experiences
Required Skills and Qualifications:
We are looking for someone with relevant experience working with vulnerable young people, preferably in a school setting. You should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work as part of a close-knit team.
