We are looking for a dedicated and passionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at a school in Newton Abbot. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing support to learners with special educational needs, helping them to achieve their full potential and reach their goals.
Responsibilities:- Providing targeted support to learners with special educational needs
- Implementing individual education plans (IEPs) and personalized learning strategies
- Collaborating with teachers and professionals to provide a safe and supportive learning environment
- Helping learners develop social and emotional skills
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- Experience working with students with speech and language disabilities and autism
- Knowledge of relevant teaching strategies and resources
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Positive and proactive attitude towards supporting children with SEN
