CBW Staffing Solutions is seeking a skilled and experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our team. This exciting opportunity offers the chance to work with prestigious clients across Central London, contributing to the smooth operation of their commercial office spaces.

As an integral part of our dedicated maintenance team, you will be responsible for carrying out both planned and reactive building maintenance tasks within tenanted areas. Your expertise in electrical systems will be crucial in ensuring a safe and efficient working environment for tenants.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Execute all aspects of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) / fabric maintenance
  • Perform lighting installations, fault-finding, lamp replacement, ballast changes, control panel adjustments, and power distribution tasks
  • Conduct emergency lighting tests and inspections
  • Maintain air handling units, building management systems, and air conditioning equipment
  • Oversee cold water systems, heating, ventilation systems, and emergency lighting
  • Manage fan coil units and perform basic water treatment checks (temperature monitoring)
  • Address minor plumbing issues, such as unblocking toilets
  • Monitor building management systems for temperature control and other critical parameters
  • Coordinate and oversee the work of sub-contractors when required
  • Attend client meetings to discuss maintenance needs and progress
  • Maintain accurate site logbooks to document all activities
Requirements:
  • City & Guilds Level 2 & 3 qualifications in Electrical Engineering
  • 17th or 18th Edition Wiring Regulations certification
  • Valid trade certificates are essential
  • Proven experience in commercial building maintenance
  • Multi-skilled aptitude with a strong understanding of various building systems
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
