Job Description

CBW Staffing Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our team as a Foot Mobile Electrical Engineer. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a leading FM service provider in London, covering a portfolio of commercial buildings in Zones 1&2.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on electrical and mechanical plant, with a focus on electrical maintenance in landlord areas.
  • Conduct emergency lighting and fire alarm testing, as well as water treatment and statutory compliance checks.
  • Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on pumps, motors, seals, bearings, and compressors.
  • Assist with air conditioning, air handling units, and fan coil unit maintenance, including filter changes and cleaning.
  • Monitor and reset chillers, as well as BMS systems.
  • Ensure log books are up to date and provide technical support as needed.
  • Escort specialist subcontractors and assist other engineers as required.
Requirements
  • City & Guilds or NVQ in Electrical Installation/Engineering.
  • Proven track record in commercial building maintenance.
  • Understanding of commercial building maintenance principles.
  • Multi-skilled with good communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work on a foot mobile basis, attending multiple sites.

  • Competitive salary up to £43,000 per annum, based on experience and qualifications.
