Job Description

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Shift Engineer to join our team at CBW Staffing Solutions. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out electrical, mechanical, and fabric maintenance tasks in a commercial bank environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform electrical maintenance tasks, including lighting installation, fault-finding, and control panel work.
  • Conduct emergency lighting checks and maintenance.
  • Carry out air conditioning and air handling unit maintenance, including filter changes and cleaning.
  • Reset chillers and perform water treatment tasks, including temperature checks and dosing.
  • Undertake plumbing tasks, including unblocking toilets and maintaining pumps and motors.
  • Monitor and maintain Building Management System (BMS) and UPS systems.
  • Identify and report faults with building services equipment and take steps to resolve them.
  • Ensure all Health and Safety issues are reported and escalated as required.
  • Maintain informal communications with client staff members related to service levels and issues.
  • Report service-affecting issues to the site management team for formal communication with the client.
Requirements
  • Electrically qualified to level 3 (C&G, NVQ, etc.)
  • 18th edition certification
  • Current or previous HVAP certification (preferred)
  • Experience working in a critical environment
  • Ability to provide copies of trade certificates
  • Proven track record in commercial building maintenance
  • Multi-skilled and able to work independently
  • Good communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including continental shifts
