Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our team at CBW Staffing Solutions. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of electrical systems and equipment in our client's properties in London.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Electrical System Maintenance: Perform regular inspections, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems, equipment, and fixtures to ensure they are functioning safely and efficiently.
  • Preventive Maintenance: Conduct scheduled preventive maintenance tasks on electrical panels, lighting systems, generators, and other electrical infrastructure to prevent breakdowns and minimize downtime.
  • Risk Assessment and Control: Conduct risk assessments for electrical work, identifying potential hazards and implementing appropriate control measures to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Client Liaison: Liaise with the managers of the sites to ensure that maintenance activities are carried out in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with other maintenance personnel, engineers, and facility managers to coordinate maintenance activities and ensure that all tasks are completed to a high standard.
  • Multi-Skilled Maintenance: Able to undertake other maintenance duties when required, including plumbing, painting, and decorating.
Requirements:
  • Electrical Qualifications: Electrically qualified with a City & Guilds - Level 3 qualification and 18th Edition certification.
  • Proven Track Record: A proven track record in building maintenance working, with a strong understanding of electrical systems and equipment.
  • Communication Skills: Good communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and colleagues.
  • Leadership and Management Skills: Good leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team of maintenance personnel.
Package and Benefits:
  • Salary: Up to £50,000 per annum.
  • Travel and Overtime: Travel covered to sites and overtime available.
  • Holiday and Pension: 28 days holiday including bank holidays and a private pension scheme.
