Job Description

**Electrical or Mechanical Maintenance Engineer - FM Service Provider**

We are seeking a skilled Electrical or Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join our team at CBW Staffing Solutions. As a key member of our FM service provider team, you will be responsible for carrying out PPM and reactive maintenance on electrical and mechanical plant in commercial buildings located in London (Zones 1&2).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform emergency lighting and fire alarm maintenance
  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on electrical and mechanical systems
  • Assist with air conditioning and air handling unit maintenance, including filter changes and cleaning
  • Monitor and maintain Building Management Systems (BMS)
  • Ensure log books are up to date and accurate
  • Escort specialist subcontractors as required
  • Provide technical support to other engineers and stakeholders
  • Work on a variety of electrical and mechanical systems, with minimal plumbing and fabric work

Working Hours:

We offer two flexible working options:

  • Monday to Friday, 08:00am to 17:00pm
  • 4 days on, 4 days off, 6 days on, 6 days off (days only, 07:00-19:00pm, including weekends)

Requirements:

  • City & Guilds or NVQ in Electrical or Mechanical Level 2 & 3
  • 17th or 18th Edition certification
  • Proven track record in commercial building maintenance
  • Understanding of commercial building maintenance principles and practices
  • Multi-skilled with ability to work on a variety of electrical and mechanical systems
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work on a 'foot mobile' basis, attending multiple sites
