Job Description

**Job Title:** Junior Electrical Maintenance Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Junior Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our team. As a Junior Electrical Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out planned and reactive building maintenance tasks, working closely with the maintenance team on site.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out electrical maintenance tasks, including lighting installation, fault-finding, and lamp replacement
  • Conduct emergency lighting tests and maintain control panels
  • Perform plumbing tasks, including unblocking toilets and maintaining pumps and motors
  • Monitor and maintain Building Management Systems (BMS) and CAFM systems
  • Undertake all allocated tasks in a timely and professional manner
  • Identify and report faults with building services equipment and take steps to resolve them
  • Ensure all Health and Safety issues are reported and escalated as required
  • Communicate with client staff members regarding service levels and issues
  • Remain flexible with regard to site attendance and tasks undertaken within personal competency

Requirements:

  • Proven track record in commercial building maintenance
  • Multi-skilled with in-depth knowledge of electrical and mechanical principles and systems
  • Good communication skills and client-facing experience
  • Previous experience of performing a Building Services Engineer role
  • Ability to work unsupervised to a high quality
  • Relevant qualification in electrical or mechanical engineering
