Surveying Manager

We are seeking an experienced Surveying Manager to lead our residential sector team at Pinnacle Recruitment Ltd.
Estimated Salary: £65,000 - £70,000 per annum
Job Description:The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the delivery of residential building projects from inception to completion.
- Develop and implement strategies to meet project deadlines and programme schedules in conjunction with critical path schedules.
- Lead a team of surveyors to maintain accurate records of all project-related documents and information.
- Evaluate tender submissions from sub-contractors, working closely with the Contracts Manager to award contracts.
- Monitor and approve sub-contractor claims for payment.
- Liaise with sub-contractors to resolve any issues or queries that may arise during the project.
- Assess and cost variations to contract on a regular basis, updating the Variations Account with monthly valuations.
- Prepare and submit contractual claims for submission.
- Submit and agree final accounts with clients.
- Prepare monthly valuations and submit for payment under the terms of the contract.
- Manage procurement and buying gains reporting, ensuring regular updates as the project progresses and concludes at final account.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Degree-qualified or other relevant qualifications.
- Minimum 8 years' experience working for a reputable main contractor on similar projects.
- Residential project experience, ideally new build and refurbishment.
- Able to work on multiple projects concurrently.
- Fully conversant with MS Office applications (Outlook, Word & Excel mainly).
- Working knowledge of programming and/or project management software.
- Current driving license.
- Able to commute to and work in SW London.
